Beef Wellington

I have kinda gotten behsind in posting this. Last week I made the Beef Wellington.

If you would like to see the video here is the link: Beef Wellington Vid

It actually came out awesome. I forgot to take pictures of the enitre process to show here. But I do have a couple to share.

So this first pic is the wellington wrapped up nicely  and scored  ready to go into the oven.

Wellington fresh from the oven ready to rest  before sliceing

Sliced on my plate ready to be eatern.

So yeah. I seriously think you all need to try this at home. I want to see your creations. Beef wellington is not as hard as anyone make it seem and it would make a really stunning presentation at a dinner party.

Oh and if you want me to walk you thru the recipe step by step here in writing. Let me know I will be more then happy to do that for you.

Happy Cooking!

The Chef is back...

For those of you who know me. You know that I am a huge fan of Chef Gordon Ramsey and the show Hell's Kitchen. And I have been thinking about doing a series of demo videos demonstrating some of the dishes that are served on Hells kitchen. So what did I do. I went out and bought beef tenderloin and mushrooms to make beef wellington. But guess what I forgot. I forgot to buy puff pastry. And I refuse to make it because of what happened last time. (Mutters to self)

That is something you can look forward to coming here and to my Youtube channel in the near future, hopefully more like next weekend.

Along with the beef wellington. I am going to do a simple mushroom risotto. Show you a quick pasta with chicken or talk friend of mine into doing a pasta with lobster for you all because I am deathly allergic to shellfish. And also eventually a rack of lamb.

In the mean time if there are any fod questions you have. Or if there is something you would like me to show you, feel free to ask. If I am able I will be more then willing to show you if I can or give you the right info.
