Tattoo Mania

There is just something about the sound of a tattoo gun that sets my teeth on edge, and send shivers down my spine. For me I think it's equal parts obsession and addiction and all of it is fun. I am also one of those weird people who finds the process of getting  tattooed relaxing and enjoyable.

I say this because it seems as though all of my friends are showing up with new tattoos and showing me. Yes, I am happy for my friends but also the green eyed monster, Envy, is raring its head demanding more ink on me. And I want it so bad that I am watching youtube vids of people getting tattooed.

I know sad right? Especially for a guy that already has 3. The simple fact of the matter is those 3, while they are a good start are no where near enough. I want more. But I have narrowed it down. I think my next tattoo will be another dragon on the inside of my calf going up over my knee. But the problem is what color to make it. The picture you see is the one I already have. I want the other one one to start about mid calf and work up to my knee and be a total diffrent color then the one I already have.
Does anyone have suggestions? Or tattoo ideas of their own? Comment and let me know.

Hobby time, what keeps me busy.

Hey everybody.

For those of you who know me or are members of my facebook know that I play a game called Warhammer, and Warhammer 40,000(40k from here on out). And know that once a year I go to what is known as Gamesday. I have started my preperations for Gamesday, which by the way is in Memphis, Tennessee this year.

Those preperations mean that I have pulled out my 40K pieces. In this case the Necrons. The necrons are soulless robots bent on bringing back their rule of the universe, by destroying all life. Sounds fun right. Hell Ya! Thats why I play.

Anyway what you are seeing on the table is all of my necron pieces. All of them, both fully painted and not yet put together. This is the first army I started playing all those 12 years ago now. I know, I'm a total nerd, right? Right! And I love every moment of my total nerdness. I just figured I would share this little tidbit of myself with you all, and let you all know what I was up to. And what is keeping me away from my story, which I will also continue as I find insperation, and that has been slow to some lately. If you want to know about the game, how its plays, the point of the game I will be more then willing to take a moment and walk you thru a turn and any of that kind of stuff. All you have to do it ask the questions in the comment or in my email. I will be more then happy to answer them all. and take some more pictures of this army, or any of my others.

writers block...

So as promissed here is a peak at how far I have gotten before I got hit with writers block...

"The shuffler’s had just cleared the third barricade and were making there way onto the kill floor. All of the residents with the longest range riffles were starting to take aim and I started to hear the first bursts of fire and as I looked out and see for every one they dropped there seemed to be 20 more to take its place. I let out a little silent prayer to a god I am not sure still exists after all the horrors I have seen.

I took a deep, steadying breath and sited thru my scope and begin dropping the targets as they emerged from the wreaked cars. All of us trying to focus on what was right in front of us, and not wanting to be the person who mentioned that we would probably run out of ammo before this was over, or what would happen if we were over run.

Squeezing the trigger of my
CZ 550 hunting riffle, with its familiar 8 pounds balanced perfectly give me a sense of comfort. I began my own grizzly task of securing headshots, pausing only long enough to reload or take a sip of water.

In the first half an hour we mounded at least hundred of the shuffler’s before I got the idea to try to turn the dropped ones into a fourth barricade."

It is only a start and this will actually be in the middle somewhere. Let me know what you think look forward to some imput.

The Writing Bug...

i have decided to try my hand are writing. I had an idea for a short story at work the other day and I got really excited. And it seems as though every time I sit down to write it i get interrupted. "Important" phone calls from friends and family. And today I haven't exactky lost the insperation, I just can't figure out where and how to start.

All because of a quite from my warhammer codex for the Necrons "Their number is legion, their name is death." and I could see this desolate landscape with smoked out ruins and I got goosebumps now if only I could put that down and hoepfully give someone else some goosebumps.

I will promise that if I can get anything out that even mildly resembles a story I will share it here for you all.
