Vacation, Traveling and Far away friends...

For those of you who are not linked to my Social media, you may not be aware that I was on vacation recently. And that I made my first ever solo trip out of the country. Granted it was just across the border to Vancouver B.C. Canada, but I still put my newly acquired passport to use.








So yes I went to Vancouver and hung out with a friend. It was awesome!!!










With that said Vancouver is a beautiful city. As someone who lives in a fairly big city myself Vancouver was nothing like I expected. It had lots of green space, public parks and gardens. It was just lush, and green and vibrant. Oh and I should mention clean. CLEAN!!! You could eat off the streets and they take recycling seriously. They also make it easy and convenient for you to do so.






I was so taken with how beautiful the city and surrounding area was I pretty much only took landscape pics. Of which those will follow once I get my computer issues fixed. For some reason the browser crashes and freezes when I try to upload the pics. So I will add those seperatly with a little explanation of where it was taken.












I know you are all wondering about the food. Cause you know I am a fat guy. The food was amazing. Vancouver is home to a large population of Asian people, so the availability of traditional Asian dishes. So much good food it blurs trying to pic out individual dishes I liked more then others. Everything I tasted was amazing. Made even more so being with friends and having good conversation. To me that is what food is all about.


In a nutshell, if you are considering a trip to Vancouver. Don't think about it. GO!!! you will not be disappointed there is something for everyone. I promise. And don't forget to check back for pictures.
